The Backyard Bee Experience begins with the a captivating presentation delivered at The Bee Lady’s home. The presentation is designed to engage both children and adults, making it a perfect activity for families, friends, or school groups looking for a unique and educational experience. With mesmerizing pictures and videos of bees, guests will learn about pollination, different bee species, bee anatomy, the bee life cycle, swarming, the challenges bees face, and how we can help them thrive.
An unforgettable experience
After the presentation, we head outside to The Bee Lady’s own backyard, where the real fun begins. Here, visitors will have morning or afternoon tea, make a candle, and have a look at the observational beehive. Those who are keen to get up close and personal with the bees can put on a veil and together we open the beehives and peek inside, getting a rare glimpse into the bustling world of bees and even tasting honey straight from the hive, for those brave enough to dip their finger in. It’s an unforgettable experience that sparks awe and wonder.
