Virtual visit
Even if distance separates us, The Bee Lady’s educational and interactive presentation can still reach your school through the power of Zoom! She understands that some schools might be too far away for an in-person visit, but that won’t stop her from sharing the fascinating world of bees with your students.
How does it work?
Through an engaging Zoom session, The Bee Lady will deliver the same informative and captivating presentation, complete with pictures and videos of bees. But the excitement doesn’t end there! She is dedicated to ensuring that your students get the full experience, even from a distance.

All materials & activities supplied digitally!
The Bee Lady will provide digital resources and activity materials to be shared with teachers. These resources will include a pot of wildflower honey for tasting, the wax and wick to make candles (including a demonstration video on how to make them), all her worksheets, a link to the 360 degree videos, and a copy of her information booklets for you to either use digitally or print out to have a hard copy in your classroom. She’s taken care of the details so that your school can participate in the fun and educational journey of The Bee Lady’s presentation, regardless of location.
So let’s buzz together
So, let’s buzz together on Zoom and embark on an unforgettable learning adventure about bees. With the digital resources in hand, your students will be able to connect with the magic of bees, fostering curiosity, appreciation, and a sense of environmental responsibility. What the children are saying about the visits
I loves your bee presentation and all the interesting facts about bees. You have inspired me to become a beekeeper and not to be afraid of bees. I want to have my own bee shed. Thank you for teaching me awesome and cool facts about bees. My favourite facts were their fuzzy tongue and their wiggle dance.

It was so fun to learn that it’s only the queen bee that lays eggs.
We had so much fun seeing the beehive and trying to work out where the queen bee was
I loved the yummy honey, that was actually bees vomit.
The glitter was funny – we weren’t expecting that
The honey was yummy
It was interesting to find out there were boy bees (who are lazy) and girl bees (that are busy).
It is only the girl bees that make the honey

I had so much fun learning about bees. It really makes me feel like building my own bee hive. Tasting the honey was great. Making the candles was awesome, my mum said it was better than hers. Pushing my finger into the beeswax was so yummy but a bit scary. Learning about how the bees grow wax from their abdomen was so interesting and cool to learn. I learned about why the bees sting and I won’t freak out when a bee comes near me now, I had so much fun putting on the bee suit, it was comfy. I hope you had fun teaching us.

We thought you were super engaging and the tamariki are still talking about seeing your bees, singing the bee song and making the candles!
